Harry Potter Stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint Talk Character Evolution!

Hey there, I'm Karli. The Harry Potter stars step out and reflect on their characters as the countdown to the end begins!

Emma Watson joined Rupert Grint and the most of the cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 for a photo call in London today. The stars were all decked out ahead of their big world premiere tomorrow.

Fans have been lining up since Monday to get a good spot along the red carpet. Since this is the final film of the series, this is the last chance they'll get to experience the excitement of a world premiere.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma, and Rupert have all grown up on screen, as they landed the roles more than ten years ago.

Emma: "It will be the end of an era, the end of a decade, the end of my teens."

But it's not just the actors who have changed over time, the stars say their characters have, too. Emma admits that brainy Hermione isn't as frazzled as she's been before, while Rupert says Ron is braver than ever.

Rupert: "In the earlier films he was easily scared. You don't really see any evidence of that in this film./He's really grown up I think."

Emma: "Hermione's pretty heroic through the whole thing to be perfectly honest. She keeps a cool head."

Meanwhile, Daniel reveals that a mid-battle kiss between Harry and Ginny was his idea.

Daniel: "I said, we should probably kiss, it might be one of those moments of like, I can be dead any moment Ginny, we should probably kiss."

Harry is so focused on the big battle in this film that it's nice to know he'll get a little romance in before the franchise ends.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opens in theaters Friday, July 15th.
