Mumbai, Sept. 5 -- They will share screen space after a gap of seven years in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. And as Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza finally wrap up their second film together, after Masti in 2004, makers contend that their "chemistry shows" in the romantic comedy too.
"I can't comment on their personal life, but Riteish and Genelia look really cute together," says producer Kumar Taurani of Tips. "In fact, both of them readily agreed to work in my film. We needed a cute and bubbly girl, so we thought, 'who better than Genelia?' She also green-lit the film without any issues. While shooting too, Riteish and Genelia were very professional."
Even as Riteish and Genelia shot for the film, reports suggested that the two made the most of their shooting schedule in Manali by spending a lot of time together. At the same time, grapevine suggests that the two are getting married after the film releases.
"I don't know about that, but they are very good friends. And that chemistry shows in the film and works well for it too," says Taurani, adding that the film's shooting is already complete. "Now, a couple of songs are to be shot for which the locations are yet to be finalised. Earlier, we wanted to shoot one in Punjab, but now we're looking for a spot near Mumbai."
The makers are already touting the film as a "different" one for Riteish. "After all, he plays a romantic hero in a solo-hero movie after a long time," says Taurani.
Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, has been directed by debutant Mandeep Kumar and will be complete by November. "But we only plan to release it in December or February 2012. Nothing is finalised,"
