Anurag Kashyap, Kalki Koechlin: Romantic escape!

New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- Film maker Anurag Kashyap and his actor wife Kalki Koechlin can't have enough of each other. The couple, who got married in April this year, are still waiting for their long due honeymoon, which was delayed due to their hectic work schedules.

The couple will soon fly to Turkey for their honeymoon. "Ever since we got married, we have been really busy. I had my release of Shaitan, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and then That Girl in Yellow Boots. In fact, there has been so much work that we wouldn't even get a chance to talk to each other sometimes," says Koechlin during the promotion of their film That Girl in Yellow Boots (TGIYB) in the Capital. On being asked why Turkey, Kashyap says, "It's Kalki's choice. She wants to be there."

The couple added that marriage has brought happiness and calmness in their lives. Koechlin says, "Though Anurag and I are two very independent people, but we have great understanding. And therefore whatever time we get to spend together is quality time."

Kashyap adds, "The best part about Kalki is that she is brutally honest. She has brought lot of happiness and calmness in my life. We completely trust each other."

Talking about his experience about directing intimate scenes of his wife in TGIYB, Kashyap says, "To be honest, I feel really very awkward and hence even today I don't see those scenes on screen. As a director, I do know that such scenes are required and they are shot very aesthetically too. But as a husband, I feel very uncomfortable."
