Freida Pinto in Versace and Fan Bingbing in Elie Saab on the Cannes 2012 Red Carpet
CANNES -FashionTV has the red carpet event for the world premiere of De Rouille Et D'Os at the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival. The French film, Rust and Bone, is a film about a man who leaves the north of France for Antibes to live with his sister and her husband. The film stars Marion Cotillard, who's already garnering Oscars buzz for the role.
On hand for the premiere is French Actress/TV Presenter Celyne Durand, French actress/comedian Axelle Laffont, and French model, socialite and fashion designer Ines De La Fressange. Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda, and Freida Pinto, the L'Oreal ambassadors at Cannes, also stun the crowd wearing gowns by Pucci, Stella McCartney, and Versace, respectively. Rounding out the beauty is Asian actress Fan Bingbing in Elie Saab Couture with a matching cape.
The 65th annual Cannes Film Festival is the most prestigious film festival in the world. It takes place every year at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres de Cannes where movie stars, filmmakers and noteworthy VIPs come from all over the world to check out world premiere screenings of top films that are then selected by a jury to be up for major awards, including the Palme D'or or "Golden Palm."
