CANNES - Day 3 of the Cannes Film Festival featured a bevy of events, which include the premiere of the animated film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, which features the voices of celeb heavyweights like Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Martin Short, Jessica Chastain and Jada Pinkett Smith. All were on hand for the red carpet premiere, which featured a regal Jessica Chastain in Giorgio Armani and Jada Pinkett Smith in bright orange Atelier Versace from Spring 2012. It fit her toned body perfectly. Actress Gemma Arterton also stunned at the premiere in a metallic dress from Gucci, while L'Oreal ambassador Jane Fonda looked half her age in Roberto Cavalli. Actress Paz Vega, who also at the premiere, stunned in Stephane Rolland couture and actress Naomi Watts was radiant in Marchesa Fall 2012. Perhaps more shocking than the red carpet stunners---photographers and fans wore bright colored clown wigs, similar to one that is featured by a cartoon character in the movie. TV Presenter/Actress Hofit Golan showed off her enviable figure in an embroidered dress.

More stars were on hand for Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in America premiere, which was the Gucci Film Foundation's premiere that night. Actors like Robert De Niro, James Woods, and Jennifer Connelly all made an appearance alongside Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini. Salma Hayek, who is married to Francois Henri-Pinault, the man who runs the company that owns Gucci. Both Jennifer Connelly and Salma Hayek wore stunning Gucci Premiere creations. Charlotte Casiraghi, second daughter to Princess Caroline of Monaco and the current face of Gucci's Forever Now campaign also attended in a green gown from Gucci Fall 2012.

The Cannes Film Festival, now in its 65th year, is the most prestigious and recognized film festival in the world. While photocalls happen during the day, movie screenings at night are a black-tie affair with red carpet appearances that are invite-only. The screenings take place at the Palais de Festivals et des Congres and a jury is chosen to select the best films.
