Mumbai, June 29 -- Let me tell you, choosing between the dhobi and Madhu the maid is like choosing between the devil and the deep blue sea. And here, I don't know who is the devil and who is the sea. Anyway, Safedi is yakking that Kalki Koechlin was sidelined on the sets of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She wanted to be a part of the Tomatina song that was being shot with the rest of the cast at the Spanish Tomato festival.
Director Zoya Akhtar couldn't include her in the song but allowed her to come on the sets and watch it all from the side, without featuring her in a single frame. She was rather kind to even give Kalkiji a tomato to throw at one of the unit members. Now if only Anurag Kashyap was directing this film, the song would have been entirely about Kalki. Even the tomatoes would have been sidelined, no? But then, such is life dearies!
