Two sporting legends Sachin Tendulkar and Roger Federer met on the sidelines of the ongoing Wimbledon championships on Saturday and chatted at length in the Royal Box. Cricket legend Tendulkar and Federer were seen exchanging views on the balcony of the Wimbledon Royal Box after the latter won his third round match against Argentine David Nalbandian.
The Indian batting great, a regular at the prestigious event, later tweeted about his meeting with the six-time Wimbledon champion and was surprised with the Swiss' knowledge about cricket.
"Spent an hour with Roger Federer chatting on the balcony of Wimbledon Royal box. What a humble guy! And by the way he knows a lot about cricket!!," Tendulkar posted on his Twitter account.
"I am always humbled by the support and love that I get from Indians even when I am @ Wimbledon watching tennis."
Federer returned the compliment saying the interaction with Tendulkar made his day special.
"Today was a special day, played a good match and had the chance to catch up with the great indian cricket star Sachin Tendulkar," read a caption on the Federer's Facebook.
