David Beckham Can't Wait to Take His Kids to Olympics in His Hometown
David Beckham says he can't wait to take his kids to the Olympics! Hey there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we have your look at David's sweet interview and his athletic weekend with his children in today's PopSugar Rush.
DAVID BECKHAM: "To be able to say that I'm going to be able to take my sons and my daughter to an Olympic games in a place where I grew up, I'm proud of that."
David Beckham is counting down the days to this Summer's Olympics! David appears in "2012 Olympic Games — 100 Days to Go," a BBC documentary airing later this week, in which the soccer superstar says he's excited to bring daughter Harper and his boys to see the games in the same place where he grew up: London's East End.
David has not officially heard whether he'll be playing for Great Britain in the Olympics just yet, but in the meantime, he has been scoring goals for his team back here in the states.
"Beckham, that's a goal! Ah, that's marvelous."
David led the LA Galaxy to a 3-1 victory against Portland on Saturday as his boys watched on from the stands, and it was a big sports weekend for the entire Beckham family as they also took in a Lakers game and an LA Kings game yesterday.
But the major sporting event on the family's calendar is the Summer Olympics, of course. The games kick off July 27.
