Music makes my world go round: Bipasha

I wake up in the morning to Rihanna’s We Found Love in a Hopeless place and there you have it, my morning starts with a bang! My otherwise mundane morning ritual of green tea and small chores is never boring courtesy my high tempo music…

Driving to my shoot locations too goes by like a breeze, with my regulars ranging from Nickelback, Snow Patrol, Greenday, Atif Aslam and plenty more. I’m also the kind of person who gets hooked on to a song and I could play it all day on loop and never tire of it, to the extent that my driver and assistant know the song like the back of their hand, given the zillion times I play it.

In fact it’s like a mini-party in my vanity van with my entire team having their own wish list of music — ranging from Hindi film music to love songs, rock and party songs.

Talking of party songs, that’s a huge must during my workouts. Hi-octane music is something that really pushes me to give my best at the gym — which could range from David Guetta, Pitbull and the likes. Going to the gym is like my own personal playground and music just makes it more fun!

The nights are for Coke Studio and classic Bollywood — There have been times when I’ve fallen asleep listening to it. I’m the kind of person who needs music every step of the way — it reflects my mood and frame of mind.

If the world was mute, I wouldn’t be too happy a person and I’m thankfully blessed to be living in a time where music makes the world go around!
