A First Face model is the one chosen to open a designer's show, representing the image of his or her brand for the season. Marte Mei van Haaster is #3 on FashionTV's First Face countdown. She's a newcomer to the modeling world. Van Haaster was born in May 1992, and discovered on the streets of Amsterdam. In September 2011, she opened shows like Acne in London and appeared in Chanel, Givenchy, and Valentino. That season, she landed an exclusive runway deal with Prada in Milan and was also in the Lanvin ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2012. In Fall 2012, she walked 51 runways. Van Haaster opened 6 shows, including Nicole Farhi, Marni, Peter Som, Mugler, Pedro Lourenco, and Rue du Mail. She also walked in shows like Sonia Rykiel and Marni.
