An FIR has been filed against actor Genelia D'Souza, ordered by a Hyderabad court.
A complaint was filed against the actor for being the brand ambassador of Anjaniputra Infrastructure Private Limited, a real estate firm in Hyderabad, which failed to construct a customer's duplex house at Maheswaram mandal on the outskirts of the city, reports Indian Express.
The court is furious over the actor for making false promises in the advertisements and brochures of the firm. However, Genelia has denied these allegations saying that it was a one-off shoot done 6 years ago.
The complaint has been filed against Genelia and five others in connection with a scam of around Rs 250 crore.
