Sonakshi Sinha has joined the likes of Eva Longoria, Rihanna and Charlie Sheen. The actor has become the first Bollywood star on Hollywood’s newest social media website, WhoSay.
The site allows users to access and update Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Tumblr accounts all at once.
Interestingly, Sonakshi joined the group on Republic Day. “For me, it was a very pleasant surprise receiving the invite. I felt honoured since they are targeting influencers and well-established celebrities. I feel lucky that I’m amongst the few young actors who they saw potential in,” says Sonakshi.
Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter is known to be Internet savvy and is quite active on Twitter. “I love that there is one platform to interact with my fans and my social media accounts are integrated into one,” says the actor, who is currently shooting for Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera.
WhoSay currently has nearly 1,000 members on its list, including personalities such as Kristin Cavallari, Jordin Sparks, Lindsay Lohan, Sofia Vergara, Nikki Reed, Paris Hilton, Bravo’s Andy Cohen and Snoop Dogg. Celebrities can join by invitation only or request to become a member.
Sonakshi is also excited because it is an ‘invite-only’ website, and all the posts will be verified. So unlike other social networking sites, her pictures, videos and messages will be authentic.
