Mumbai, March 8 -- At the mention of Shahid Kapoor, a birdy from Bandra tells me that he's very keen to work with Deepika Padukone. More so after she reportedly opted out of Heer And Ranjha, a modern day take on one of the classic romances.
So, I'm informed that it was at Kapoor's behest that Padukone dropped in at Kunal Kohli's office a few days ago. Birdy also reveals that Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu were there too, probably to discuss the filmmaker's next venture.
Yeah, I do know that Kohli is pairing Priyanka Chopra with Kapoor... so I wonder what she will say when she learns that Padukone dropped in at her Kaminey co-actor and beau's insistence. Or shouldn't I ask?
