Embattled actress Lindsay Lohan tells police she was assaulted inside the W Hotel in New York City early Sunday by a man she met at Manhattan nightclub 1Oak.
The man, 25-year-old Christian Labella, was arrested.
According to reports, he was taking Lindsay Lohan photos on his cell phone while they were hanging out with a couple of her friends in her 15th floor room.
When she saw the photos, she took his phone.
LaBella then threw her on the bed and PUNCHED her, according to the star, prompting LiLo to run out of the room, only to head back at an undetermined point.
LaBella allegedly attacked Lindsay again, choked her, scratched her, threw her on the ground and climbed on top of her. Which is generally how she likes it anyway.
Kidding. Sorry.
In any case, it may not have ever happened. LaBella was taken into custody after attempting to take off down the stairs, and her friends phoned for help.
He was charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault and two counts of harassment, but all charges were quickly dismissed after NYPD investigators "quickly determined no crime was committed."
"It's both distressing and outrageous ... and there should be a consequence for that," Lohan's rep Steve Honig said, incredulously, after the charges were dropped.
We'd agree, if her version of events happened. The police seem to feel otherwise, though, as choking, punching and throwing people around tends to lead to charges that stick.
