Aish’s Poster with a Red Rose – How it came into being
“Aish’s poster with red rose -how it came into being” I was in deep thought at that moment of time Sanjay just called the still and clicked me. I was not even aware of the fact. When I asked him when did he click this snap? He then told me,” This picture is so very natural, I got it clicked when you were in a deep thought.” And this picture turned into a poster. Amazingly brilliant poster indeed!” Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
A brief rendezvous by Lipika Varma follows – Aish’s poster with a red rose – How it came into being Aish’s poster with a red rose- How it came into being.
Aishwarya Rai has back to back releases it was Ravaan, Robot, Action Replay and Guzaarish. She tells us how she got onto the Guzaarish character immediately after she finished the shoot of Raavan. I am a person who loves to go through the minutest details of my character. I still remember, I was busy shooting for Raavan. And Sanjay kept telling we are going to begin with the shoot of Guzaarish soon, just after you get free. I was like give me some time to get to read the role. And before I set to perform any character I love to get to know about my dresses, my hair style for different scenes and other nuances etc. So Sanjay told me “Ok at least you be there for the shoot and your scenes we shall start after five days.” I was very happy and I told him fine you do scenes with Hrithik. I was there on the sets on the first day itself. But Sanjay asked me to perform after two days only.”
Aish goes onto add how well she and Sanjay Leela Bhansali bond,” We understand even the weirdest expressions.” We strangely connect. Surprisingly we understand each others expressions so well that while going through the sets we might have not liked something ,we just look at each other and when I come back after a while from the make room, I find it has been changed. It could be the visual of a candle or bed-sheet in the scene. Our sensitive expressions speak so much without even uttering a single word. For that matter even if a string of my hair do is not in place, It has to be redone again. It may seem very superficial, but our communication level is so very on the upper level that we understand things between the lines. And changes are made accordingly. Everything between us goes with the sync.”
Talking about some magical moment during the shoot she reminisces how her exuberant poster with a red rose in her plates’ happened,” I was in deep thought at that moment of time Sanjay just called the still and clicked me. I was not even aware of the fact. When I asked him when did he click this snap? He then told me,” This picture is so very natural, I got it clicked when you were in a deep thought.” And this picture turned into a poster. Amazingly brilliant poster indeed!”
Having entered film then and now she finds a tremendous growth in her,” I have always chosen a lot of intense films and less of comedy as well as commercial films right from the beginning of my career. Every actor grows with times. I have always compartmentalized every aspect involving acting. My make up and my clothes every thing is taken proper care of. Working for all our character whether in Dhoom, Jodha Akbar we had to take every detailing while in Dhoom our choreography was of utmost importance and in Jodha- Akabar historical detailing had to be done to authenticate creativity. As actors we too need put in our efforts. Having worked with different brilliant and diverse film makers it is a wider experience which I have hoarded for myself. All my experience year after year has definitely helped me grow as well as connect, reconnect to every character of mine that I have played.”
She further adds,” I treasure the reality of life, the blessings of my elders. The real and immense love that we receive from one and all keeps us connected with the truth. I believe in sharing this connection beyond relations.”Last but not the least she says,” I have shared the smiles, laughter, and tears while acting on screen and also working with all my team during the making. Also sharing this smile, laughter and tears with the audiences means a lot to me. The very willing audiences’ response matters a lot to us. We experience something that even the viewer’s experiences.” she signs off.
