Ex-beauty queen plays 'Saif'!

Mumbai, Jan. 30 -- She made her acting debut last year with comedy drama Faltu. And now, ex-beauty queen ex-beauty queen Puja Gupta has bagged a big role in Saif Ali Khan's production Go Goa Gone. She will be seen opposite Saif and the other male lead, Kunal Khemu, in the film.
"Yes, it's really exciting to work with a star like Saif Ali Khan. And honestly speaking, I couldn't have asked for anything better in my second film," chuckles the newbie, who was the winner of the Miss India Universe title in 2007. She also went on to bag a place among the top ten contestants at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.
Interestingly, Puja, along with her other cast members, hit the popularity charts with singer Hard Kaur's chartbuster 'Chaar baj gaye...' from her debut movie.
And now, she plans to request makers of Go Goa Gone also to include a song by Hard Kaur in the film. "For all of us in Faltu, the song 'Chaar baj gaye...' did really well. We all are proud of it. Otherwise too, I really like Hard Kaur as a singer and person. We all know that people really enjoy her songs a lot," she says.
Go Goa Gone is a zombiecomedy directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru, who delivered a surprise hit Shor In The City last year. The film's shooting has already begun in Goa. Buzz is that Saif also plans to include an item number in the film. He will reportedly shoot a promotional video for the film after Agent Vinod releases.
It's believed that since it is a comic zombie film, the video will also have a similar-themed backdrop. The song might also have funny lyrics. Composer duo Sachin-Jigar, who composed music for Shor In The City, will be directing music for the film. The film is expected to hit theatres by the end of this year.
