GEO TV to jointly present Sur Kshetra with Sahara TV

We first reported on 4th December that Atif Aslam will be seen in an Indian Reality TV show. Little did we know that when the things would fold down, the show will not remain for “Indian Audience” only and transform into a joint production of two known hostile nations.
As new reports suggest, GEO TV in Pakistan will present this grand musical competition SUR KSHETRA , jointly with Sahara TV of India.
Atif Aslam and Himesh Reshammiya will be the captains for the team of Pakistan and India respectively. Both team will have an equal number of young talented singers who will compete in the show for the grand title. The show which is scheduled to be on-air soon will be shot in Dubai. It has also been confirmed now that Abida Perveen, Runa Laila and Asha Bhosle will judge this sub-continent’s grand musical event.
The show promos and advertisements have started airing on GEO TV and Sahara TV featuring Atif Aslam and Himesh Reshammiya. The promos are asking the interested singers to register for the show by sending an SMS from their mobile.

Target to Debut Exclusive Breaking Dawn Part 2 Clip

For at least one night next month, Target will be the most popular store on earth. And not simply because you can pick up school supplies, a new wardrobe, a basketball and a week's worth of groceries in its aisles.

Beyonce Doing "Fabulous," Band Mates Say

New celebrity mom Beyonce is recovering fully and doing fabulously since the birth of Blue Ivy Carter, according to those that know her best.

"She's doing fabulous," Michelle Williams said on the red carpet at the taping of the 2012 BET Honors in Washington, D.C., on Saturday night.

"She was born to be a mother," their fellow Destiny's Child band member Kelly Rowland added at the show, which will air February 13.

"She's just wonderful."



According to Williams, Beyoncé has what it takes to be a great mother to baby Blue: "She has such compassion for people and humanity, period."

Still, Williams (who refused to congratulate Bey on Twitter) admits they never thought their frontwoman would be the first to become a mom.

"We were very shocked ... we were laughing with each other the other day and she was like, 'Can y'all believe it? I was the anti - like no children for me,' and she's the first one [of us to have a baby]," Williams said. "So it was so amazing to see."

Williams, who already spent time with "the bundle of joy," says Beyoncé and Jay-Z's little chart topper just might be the most stylish baby on the scene.

After all, she has Kelly and Michelle looking after her!

Katy Perry Sims Collector's Edition Game: Coming Soon!

A new collaboration between Katy Perry and virtual reality computer program "The Sims" to create a Collector's Edition game with content and exclusives featuring the newly-single blue-haired hit-maker was announced today by Electronic Arts.

The company plans to develop multiple "Sims" games featuring special Perry-themed virtual goods and in-game content. The partnership launches in March.

Perry, showing off her new hairstyle, will also be featured in accompanying advertising and marketing campaigns for "The Sims" such as this one:



"It's cool to see the Sims' stage performances in 'The Sims 3: Showtime' decked out just like my California Dreams Tour," Perry said in a statement.

The 27-year-old adds: "Even my cotton candy video screens are in there! I always say I like to think of myself and my life as a cartoon, and now I'm a Sim!"

Perry worked with the Sims Studio to create accessories, clothing, hairstyles, furniture and props for the Sims game, available for pre-order today.

Bruce Jenner Reveals Skin Cancer Diagnosis, Scar

Bruce Jenner had a scare at the doctor's office on Friday, but all now appears to be okay with the Kardashian patriarch.

Sources confirm that the former Olympic Gold Medalist scheduled an appointment due to a red mark on his face. His physician removed a small piece, a biopsy revealed it to be cancerous and Jenner later had a larger chunk taken out at an outpatient facility.



The reality star must stay out of the sun, but is expected to make a full recovery. TMZ has posted a photo of Bruce, post-surgery.

We don't even have a Kim Kardashian joke to make here. We're glad to hear Jenner will be okay.

Kareena-Imran to pair up again!

Actors Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor come together on the big screen for the first time in Karan Johar’s Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. And though the Shakun Batra film is yet to release, Karan is already in talks with Imran and Kareena to cast them in another film. “A lot of filmmakers have approached them for new ventures together,” says an insider from the film unit.

Offers may be pouring in, but Karan has made it clear that the duo will first be roped in for another Dharma Production before anything else. Insiders insist that the producer has a few youthful romantic subjects that he wants to discuss with the pair, before they consider other offers. If things go as planned, the new film might go on the floors by the end of this year.

When contacted, Imran confirms the latest development. “Yes, Karan, Kareena and I are chatting about a (new) film. We have fantastic chemistry in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and that’s probably why several people have appreciated us. It has also resulted in a lot of interest in us as an on-screen pair. But it’s too early to talk about it (the new film).”

The pairing has stirred up some debate over who will be the next popular on-screen couple, in the tradition of Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol, or Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh. And here, Imran has an advantage over industry rival Ranbir Kapoor, who is Kareena’s cousin and can’t be paired opposite her as a romantic lead. Ask the young Khan about the so-called advantage and he laughs, “Yes, I do have an ‘edge’ over Ranbir in a way. It’s quite obvious that he can’t be paired opposite his cousin.”

Ranbir and Imran’s career graphs have been compared to one another right from their debut films — Saawariya (2007) and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008) respectively. Reports also claim that the actors’ friendship has been strained over the last few years.

Sarah Palin to Newsweek: YOU'RE Dumb!

Many conservatives are furious over Newsweek's controversy-bait cover story by Andrew Sullivan, whose headline asks, "Why Are Obama's Critics So Dumb?"

Sarah Palin is taking it particularly personally, though.

"Know what's truly 'dumb'?" Palin Tweeted. "Giving a cover story to the Trig Truther conspiracy kook writer who thinks I didn't give birth to my son."



In a play on the "Birther" conspiracy surrounding Obama's birth certificate, Palin is calling out Sullivan for questioning whether she is Trig's real mother.

In 2008, Sullivan and others theorized that a Sarah Palin pregnancy scandal involving a cover-up of Bristol Palin getting knocked up could be in effect.

Bristol was, of course, pregnant with Tripp, not Trig.

He hypothesized that Palin "faked the pregnancy to avoid embarrassment for her daughter [Bristol Palin] or for political gain or some combination of reasons."

Sullivan's response to Palin calling him out today?

"I have no idea, as I have said time and time again, whether Sarah Palin gave birth to Trig, and have never written such a thing."

"All I ever asked for a person who could become president was some basic evidence for her insane story, like medical records that most candidates have no problem providing."

"She never provided any, and preferred to withdraw from seeking public office rather than do so. Of course, no response to the substance. She doesn't do substance. Neither, it seems, does much of the rightwing blogosphere.

Other conservative bloggers have fired back against Sullivan on political grounds. Andrew Breitbart's Big Government writes "Why Is Andrew Sullivan So Dumb?"

"You'd have to be stupid, fanatical, and dishonest to argue - as Trig Truther Sullivan does - that Barack Obama's failures are part of an ingenious 'long game' destined to succeed," he wrote. "If this is the best Obama's supporters can do, Obama's only hope for re-election is the weak Republican field."

During a Fox News segment on Sullivan's article Monday night, the network blurred out Sullivan's name when showing the Newsweek cover.

"They are far too afraid to have me on to defend it," Sullivan wrote. "I've been on the blacklist for years. Like Ron Paul, too dangerous for Fox."

Salman is a lucky charm for Atul's films!

Mumbai, Jan. 17 -- Filmmaker Atul Agnihotri has not failed to notice the amount of fortune his brother-in-law, actor Salman Khan has brought him.

Agnihotri's film Bodyguard (2011), starring Salman garnered R 150 crore last year, in India alone.

The producer now wants Khan to star in all of his films. "I hope that Salman bhai becomes a part of every film I make. part of every film I make. I have no reservations in saying it, but for that it has to be an overall entertaining, two hour movie," says the 41-year-old, adding, "Watching films is a complete experience and Bollywood movies are a little of everything. They are a celebration of life and that movie (starring Salman) should have every bit of it." he adds.
Ask if his next venture after Bodyguard has been finalised with been finalised with Atul Agnihotri Sallu, Agnihotri says, "The script is ready, but Salman bhai is committed right now to other projects."

David Arquette and Christina McLarty made their first red carpet appearance as a couple this weekend, posing together at the Art of Elysium Heaven Gala in Los Angeles and looking happy as can be.



"We're serious," the actor told E! News of the relationship. "But we're having fun."

McLarty lives in New York City and works as a reporter for Entertainment Tonight, which means the couple does the long distance thing with Arquette based on L.A.

"We're making it work," Arquette said. "We try to do a no more than two weeks [apart] rule.

McLarty and Arquette started dating in September, around the same time as the latter's stint on Dancing with the Stars. He didn't fare too poorly on that competition and referred to it as a life-changing experience.
