'Terminator 5' To Focus On Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator?
James Cameron advices Arnold Schwarzenegger on terminator 5, and ive got the details!
About a year ago, the arnold announced that he was shopping around a new "Terminator" film to the major studios with him back in the lead role. Terminator fans were pretty excited about this news and now we learn that schwarzengger may be taking some advice from james cameran, someone who played a pretty large role in the first 2 films.
MTV recently caught up with Cameron and he dished on the terminator film franchise....he said, "I was talking to him back in fall about a new 'Terminator' film and quietly advising on that, I suppose you could say"...he went on to explain how he told Schwarzenegger that he should not proceed with the proposed fifth film of the series unless it shifted the focus onto the character of the T-800.
Cameron said, "I was trying to be as encouraging as possible. Frankly, at that time, I thought it needed to be more about him...I told him he should not do it until it's focused on his character or he shouldn't do it. I think there are some great stories that can be told about that character that haven't even been thought of yet."
Justin Lin was originally attached to helm T5 but he dropped out of the project last September, so besides camerons advice, we really don't know where t5 stands, so we will be sure to keep you guys posted as we get more info.. in the meantime you tell us what you would like to see from the next terminator film!
