Contrary to reports, Priyanka Chopra is not getting 9 crore for Zanjeer. In fact, Ram Charan who's stepping into Big B's shoes, would bag Rs. 12 crore for his debut Bollywood movie.According to TOI, Charan's close friends reveal that Priyanka is only getting Rs. 5.5 crore for the film.
An industry source told the daily, "It is ridiculous to even suggest that PC will get a price higher than that of Charan's. Charan is getting 10 crore in Andhra Pradesh and has been signed on for 12 cr now for his Bollywood debut. Whoever is responsible for these stories should do some serious re-thinking."
Sources also suggest that Priyanka's PR machinery is behing spreading such stories.

"So far dealing with being Chiranjeevi's son was a challenge enough. But that challenge is nothing when compared with what I face now. To get into the space of India's biggest star-actor is a prospect that I am not brooding over," said Teja.
