Taylor Swift and Tim Tebow: Spotted at Dinner

This pairing almost makes too much sense, doesn't it?

Witnesses tell The New York Post that Tim Tebow and Taylor Swift struck up a conversation at a pre-Academy Awards party on Friday night, following it up with dinner two evenings later at at Toscanova Italian restaurant in Century City.

"After dinner, he walked her out," a source says. "Then he walked back in to join two other people. I think they may both have been with their agents."

Granted, the meal doesn't sound too romantic, but Taylor has been burned by so many men in her past. Tebow is a virgin, had the good sense to reject Kim Kardashian and might be the son of God.

This couple has to happen.

Priyanka takes music lessons while shooting!

Priyanka Chopra, whose first music album is coming out soon, had reportedly taken her vocal trainer Samantha Edwards to Darjeeling on the sets of Anurag Basu’s Barfi!

The 29-year-old actress took music lessons before and after the shoot in a bid to fit into her new role perfectly.

Even co-star Ranbir Kapoor joined the ‘Don’ star in her training sessions.

Ajay Devgn my lucky charm: Tusshar Kapoor

Actor Tusshar Kapoor says Ajay Devgn is his lucky charm and that's why he roped him in to do the voiceover in his forthcoming movie Chaar Din Ki Chandni. "Yes, definitely, he is my lucky charm. We have done five films, of which four have been hit. I hope that even this film does well as
he has done a voiceover for us in the film," Tusshar, who has worked with Ajay in Khakee and Golmaal franchise, said at an event here.

Tusshar developed a strong bonding with Ajay during the shoot of the Golmaal franchise.

"Our bonding strengthened as we have done so many films together, Kareena Kapoor, him and me have done three films together. It's the same unit, same director, same set-up, same series. We do things together during shooting, so a friendship and a comfort level has developed. We chat together when the shoot is not on. We share a great professional relationship," he said.

Directed by Samir Karnik, "Chaar Din Ki Chandni" features Kulraj Randhawa of "Yamla Pagla Deewana" fame opposite Tusshar and hits theatres Holi.

Riteish-Genelia dance at brother’s wedding

Newly wed actors Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza turned baraatis at Riteish’s younger brother Dheeraj Deshmukh’s wedding on Monday morning. Deshmukh tied the knot with film producer Vashu Bhagnani's daughter Honey Bhagnani in a starry ceremony attended by Bollywood and political bigwigs at Grand Hyatt.

However, the bhai-bhabhi team stole the show as they danced all the way to the wedding venue. Dressed in a maroon and green Sabyasachi lehenga, with her hair tied in a braid and decorated with flowers, Genelia was also spotted doing a jig with the traditional folk dancers. “It was a traditional Maharashtrian wedding. There was a lavish spread of various cuisines, but everyone was gorging on the Marathi dishes,” says a guest.

Actor Salman Khan, who had missed Riteish and Genelia’s wedding because of his shoot in Cuba made, it a point to attend his brother's wedding. When he arrived, Riteish personally came out to receive him. However, the actor left soon after wishing the couple.

RK turns footballer!

Mumbai, Feb. 29 -- Sports are suddenly in the air, beams Candy. He says that after endorsing some outdoor sports for some news channel, Ranbir Kapoor is now going to be seen as a footballer in one of his upcoming ad films.

Basically, the actor, a huge fan of footballer Lionel Messi, has imported a lot of characteristics from him and posed as a soccer star in his Pepsi cola or some such campaign that breaks tonight. Candy says he had to slog really hard to complete the shoot in time so that he can be available to his other directors for their films. Zzzzzzzzz! Whatever!

What Did Reese Witherspoon Say About Chris Brown's Assault on Rihanna?

Rihanna's recent musical collaboration with Chris Brown has spurred criticism across the media and celebrity spectrum. Reese Witherspoon has even weighed in.

The This Means War actress star appeared at the World Conference of Women's Shelters in Washington, D.C., as part of a partnership with the Avon Foundation.

There to raise awareness about domestic violence, the mother of two say she is making sure her kids - Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8 - learn an important lesson.

She openly discussed how she actively talks to her two children about domestic violence, and that Chris Brown and Rihanna are part of that conversation.

"We talk about domestic violence and what that means," Witherspoon, 35, said.

"Although the concept is somewhat foreign to them, they're starting to understand that this happens to families in our country and all throughout the world."

She also doesn't shelter them from the realities of Brown's assault on Rihanna: "My daughter knows what happened to her. My son knows as well."

"We talk about what is abuse. It's important to talk to our daughters and our sons at an early age about what's appropriate and what is absolutely not acceptable."

Judging from mom's open and mature communication style - not calling anyone out while still not mincing words on a difficult topic - Ava and Deacon are lucky.

George Clooney on Gay Rumors: Bring 'Em!

You wanna believe George Clooney is gay? The actor possesses a resume full of the most beautiful girlfriends in the business, but go right ahead.

He won't stop you.

"I think it's funny," the actor tells The Advocate of such rumors. "But the last thing you'll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying, 'These are lies!' That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community. I'm not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing. My private life is private, and I'm very happy in it."

Clooney, of course, is dating Stacy Keibler (or is he really?!?) and is a firm support of gay marriage.

"One day the marriage equality fight will look as archaic as George Wallace standing on the University of Alabama steps keeping James Hood from attending college because he was black," he says. "People will be embarrassed to have been on the wrong side."

Cops Investigating Murder Outside Rick Ross' Place

Police are looking to speak with rapper Rick Ross after a man was shot to death in front of his Miami Gardens home this morning, according to TMZ.

Ross was not present at the time of the shooting.

At this point in the investigation, he's not considered a suspect. Police found the victim, a 40-year-old man, laying inside a gate at the home.

Investigators don't know if the victim has any connection to Ross, but since he is listed as the property owner, cops obviously want to ask him a few questions.

So far, no comment from Rick's camp about the situation.

Ross experienced major health problems last year, experiencing two seizures in a matter of months. Here's hoping he's totally uninvolved with this tragedy.

Selena Gomez Clarifies New Tattoo

Along with almost every other media outlet, we mistakenly identified this singer's new tattoo as a mini heart, even going so far as assuming it was chosen by the 19-year old in honor of boyfriend Justin Bieber.

But Gomez cleared up the misconception last night.

"It's a music note," she told Marc Malkin of E! News. "I was named after a singer and music obviously is a big influence for me. And there's music stuff with my mom that means a lot to me, too."

Fair enough. And far more sensible than permanently marking your body in honor of a boy. Even if that boy is Justin Bieber.

Dabangg 2 on TV for Rs 50 crore?

Until recently, Agneepath had topped the price charts for TV rights of big-ticket movies. Trade estimates state that Zee Network paid approximately Rs 41 crore for it, beating Hrithik Roshan-starrer Krrish 3, Aamir Khan’s Talaash and 2011’s RA.One with Shah Rukh Khan. Now, it seems Star Network has picked up the Dabangg sequel, slated to go on floors in the first half of March, for approximately Rs 45 to 50 crore.

Hemal Jhaveri, general manager, Star Gold, admits the sale has broken records, though he avoids revealing the exact amount. “We have the biggest library of Salman’s movies. It made sense to buy Dabangg 2 because his last release, Bodyguard (2011), rated well on its premiere show, and fetched about 11 points in television ratings. The subsequent screenings have scored well too,” he says.

According to tradesmith Amod Mehra, the bankable heroes such as Salman, Aamir, Shah Rukh, Hrithik and Akshay Kumar only have one or two releases a year. So, leading networks are willing to go the extra mile to acquire TV rights to their movies.

“RA.One may not have been a box-office hit, but it fared well on TV. Agneepath will be received well too. Even sponsors don’t like to advertise when a smaller movie is premiered on the tube,” says Amod, pointing out that prices are no longer a concern for leading channels. “Salman commands excellent value right now.” Jayantilal Gada of Pen India Pvt Ltd, which acquires movies for a leading network, believes that with new big-budget movies being announced routinely, it would not be impossible to break Salman’s new record this year either. “Sometimes, movies are announced but never move forward, while some others are taken on the floors immediately. Buying and selling TV rights also depends on whether a movie will ever see the light of day,” he explains, adding, “I’m sure there are some films in the pipeline that leading networks will vie for. And one of them could fetch a higher price than Dabangg 2.”

Salman, who has just returned from Cuba, and will reprise Chulbul Pandey’s character in the sequel to the 2010 hit, admits he’s unaware of the details of the sale: “Arbaaz (Khan) is the best person to comment on this. And if the news is true, I’m going to be very delighted.” Arbaaz remained unavailable for comment. As for the sale of TV rights becoming one of the best means for producers to recover their production costs, Amod says, “Dabangg 2’s budget won’t go beyond R70 crore. And they’ve already made roughly Rs 45-50 crore.” Jayantilal adds, “Before, audio rights assured recovery of production costs. Then, it became video rights and now, it’s satellite TV.”

Check this list:

Agneepath — Rs 41 cr
Krrish 3 — Rs 38 cr

Ma was very scared: Soha Ali Khan

Actor-mother Sharmila Tagore, who stays in Delhi, was distressed seeing reports flashing on almost every news channel, talking about her son Saif Ali Khan’s recent scuffle at a restaurant.

Her daughter, and Saif’s younger sibling, Soha reveals this, opining that the issue was unnecessary hyped up because her brother is a celebrity. “Ma got very scared. She started calling me, seeing media reports on the television. She was unable to get through to him. Finally, they had a talk and everything is fine now,” says the actor.

On Tuesday night, Saif allegedly got into a fight with South African businessman Iqbal Meer Sharma at Wasabi restaurant at the Taj Mahal Palace and Towers, Colaba. He’d been dining with his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor and a bunch of friends from the film fraternity, when the scuffle broke out.

“I don’t think it’s the first time people have got into a fight there. But since he is a celebrity, it’s being taken to another level. Had it been anyone else, it wouldn’t have been such a big deal. I think this happens quite a lot,” says Soha adding, “I wasn’t there, so I don’t know what exactly happened. But as Saif is a celebrity, the media got involved and the issue got blown out of proportion. Even if a car accident happens, the bigger car’s driver is always blamed, irrespective of who was at fault.”

Followed by a complaint lodged against the star at Colaba Police Station, Saif and actor Amrita Rao’s husband Shakeel Ladakh, who was also involved in the fight, were arrested on Wednesday evening and released on bail later that day.

Ask Soha if she feels this would affect Saif’s image or his forthcoming spy-thriller Agent Vinod and she says, “I don’t think so. It’s difficult to predict, but on the basis of what I’ve read, he made a very sensible and matured comment to the media. He said that there are two ways to deal with anything. I could have done it with a more Gandhian spirit, but fortunately or unfortunately, things didn’t turn out that way. I think this issue should be dropped.”

Priyanka Chopra not invited to Karan's show!

Buzz has it that filmmaker Karan Johar has severed ties with actor Priyanka Chopra.

Reason: Priyanka’s proximity to actor Shah Rukh Khan is not going down well with SRK’s wife and Johar’s best friend, Gauri Khan.

“Karan has prepared a list of all A-league celebs to appear on his show, Koffee With Karan, and has excluded Priyanka,” says a source.

It is also believed that Karan Johar was waiting for Agneepath to get released, before he could part ways with Priyanka Chopra.

Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan hold hands at an event.

In the last season, Priyanka Chopra made her presence with actor Shahid Kapoor.

Celebrities who are expected on the show this season are Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan, Deepika Padukone, Emraan Hashmi, Anil Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor amongst others.

Shilpa, who is pregnant with her first baby, is also expected to be present at the inaugural ceremony, where Dutt, who is an equity partner in the venture, will also be among the attendees. Even stars are into multi-starrers: Shazahn Padamsee

Her next film Housefull 2 has a dozen actors, but Shazahn Padamsee isn't fretting. After all, stars are also a part of multi-starrers, isn't it, says the actress. "I have such a long way to go. I am so young and have to be a part of the industry for so many years. I'll do multi-starrers,
I'll do films with many people...Now you see even the stars doing multi-starrers. The world is my oyster; I don't look for anything solo or multi-starrer," Shazahn told IANS.

Daughter of ad guru Alyque Padamsee, Shazahn made her Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year and later went on to be a part of Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji, which had an ensemble cast. She is now gearing up for the release of Housefull 2 April 5.

Shazahn was initially nervous about being a part of the film, but after working with the cast and crew, she says its been her best experience so far.

"Earlier, I was nervous because I had heard of the pranks of Sajid and since I am the youngest among the cast and the crew, I thought I would be picked up very easily for a prank. But it has been the most enjoyable experience."

"All the actresses are very close and we were always chatting on the sets discussing diet tips. The cast has become family now," she added.

The two-film-old actress says she is enjoying the way her Bollywood career has shaped up so far, but says being an actor was never on her mind. Rather, she wanted to be a writer.

"It has been a wonderful journey. I come from a theatre family. So films were something I never thought of doing because I wanted to be a writer. But now since I am part of films, I am enjoying every bit of it," said Shazahn, who recently walked the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) ramp for designer Sulakshana Monga.

Seal on Post-Divorce Media Tour: Peeps Need to Know

Seal is speaking out ... about speaking out about his divorce.

The reason he's been so forthcoming about his recent split with Heidi Klum, according to the singer, is to promote his upcoming tour because we deserve to know.

He's generous, that Seal.

"When you publicize your marriage as much as ours was, when you renew wedding vows, all those things ... you're painting a picture of an ideal relationship that people aspire to," he said on the Australian radio show Fifi and Jules.

"So, when it goes south, you can't all of a sudden take the philosophy of a monk and decide to go for a vow of silence," the singer continued.

"It doesn't really work like that. I certainly respect my wife's decision not to talk about that, but I felt that people at least deserved some kind of explanation why that picture of the ideal relationship wasn't what they thought it was."

Seal really went above and beyond full disclosure, though.

Taping Ellen, Piers Morgan Live and Tavis Smiley within a week of the breakup and not nixing any personal questions, he seemed to almost relish it.

Okay, that's a bit much, but while most stars clam up in these situations, he did the opposite. Then again, the shows were booked well in advance.

"It's not like this happened and I decided the next week to go on the [shows]," the 49-year-old Brit told Fifi and Jules. "It's a difficult time."

"The best that one can do in this situation is handle it with dignity and civility... I tried my very best to protect the general welfare of my family."

"My wife included. You would hope you can behave like adults and try and protect those who are most important in this, which are your family."

In his defense, too, he wasn't exactly talking smack.

The reverse, if anything. Seal said some lovely things about Klum. "I still wear my wedding ring, because I'm still married to this incredible woman" and "she is still, in my opinion, the most wonderful woman in the world."

Bruce Beresford-Redman: I Didn't Kill My Wife

Bruce Beresford-Redman, the former Survivor producer accused of killing his wife in Mexico two years ago, is speaking out for the first time and proclaiming his innocence.

"Everyone seems to have decided that I killed my wife," he tells 48 Hours Mystery in an episode airing Saturday at 10 p.m. "I didn't kill my wife – I really didn't."

In April 2010, the body of Monica Beresford-Redman turned up naked and beaten in a sewer near a resort in Cancun where she was vacationing with Bruce and their two children.

Beresford-Redman, who was extradited to Mexico this month for the crime, was arrested soon after authorities found the corpse and witnesses at the hotel said they overheard the couple arguing earlier in the night.

"For anyone who really believes... that you're innocent until you're proven guilty, please take a look at the evidence. Or in this case, the absolute complete lack of evidence," says Beresford-Redman, adding:

"I doubt that there will ever be a satisfying resolution for this because the evidence is gone. Even if I do manage to get off, I don't know if Monica's killers will ever really be caught."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: Caught Canoodling!

Ready for a look at Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart like you've never seen them before?

Earlier this week, Rob (his buzzcut) and Kristen attended the birthday party of actor Scout Taylor-Compton, where they proceeded to cozy up in one of the more natural, simple embraces we've seen between the typically-private pair.

A fellow attendee snapped this photo and posted it on Facebook, giving fans one of their most intimate looks yet at the tandem affectionately referred to as "Robsten."

Pattinson and Stewart, meanwhile, are the number-one seed in our couples-based Tournament of THG and have advanced to the quarterfinals as of this posting. Will they finish on top?

Cuddling for Colcci: Ashton Kutcher and Alessandra Ambrosio

The actor who broke the heart of Demi Moore, and who already stars in Nikon commercials with a bevy of beautiful women, is now posing for the Colcci Autumn/Winter 2012 clothing campaign with one of the best looking females alive: Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio.

Take a look at the finished product and curse Ashton under your breath now. Or out loud. Most people around you will feel the same way...

Salman supports Saif, says media was biased

Salman Khan, who is back here after the shooting of Ek Tha Tiger in Cuba, Friday came out in support of his fellow actor Saif Ali Khan, saying that media should have waited for his version and dug out the facts before running what was carried on television.

"Even the press yesterday was all for the other guy. They didn't even bother to ask what happened to Saif. Did Saif got wacked first or not? We should have waited for Saif to come out and say what he had to say," Salman told reporters after he was aksed to comment on the incident.

"We are actors and we have been in the industry for the longest time. Saif has been in the industry for 18 years. We knew the guy," added the actor.

Salman is the face of the History channel and was attending the unveiling of TV 18's Big initiative.

Saif was involved in a scuffle early Wednesday at Wasabi, the Japanese restaurant at Taj Mahal Palace with South Africa-based Indian businessman Iqbal Sharma. The latter alleged that Saif abused and assaulted him and his father-in-law and filed a complained at the Colaba police station, the actor said he was provoked to do so.

Following Sharma's complain the 41-year-old actor was arrested Wednesday evening with two others -- Shakeel Ladak and Bilal Amrohi.

Police detained the trio at the Marine Drive police station and later brought them to the Colaba police station. The interrogation of the trio lasted an hour. Later, the actor and his two friends were freed on personal bonds of Rs.3,000 each.

According to Sharma, Saif called him an "idiot" for complaining about the actor's loud conduct at the restaurant. He said he and his family had requested the restaurant manager to ask Saif and his friends, which included Kareena, Amrita Arora and Malaika Arora Khan, to keep their voices down.

Salman said: "If you have gone into a restaurant, you are not there to manao matam (mourn). You are there to have dinner and drinks. My family was there, everybody was there. I am sure he (Sharma) might be right, but my point is that find out the entire thing and then come on TV."

When CNN-IBN editor-in-chief Rajdeep Sardesai asked Salman if recently he created any historical moment by bashing up someone in a restaurant, Salman replied: "Other people are making history it seems."

The actor, who himself has been involved in hit and run case, and scuffles, says the blame always comes on actors.

Salman said: "Always the actors have been blamed, why so? It has always been us," he said.

Vidya Balan gets superstitious about red!

The unprecedented success of The Dirty Picture (2011) has resulted in Vidya Balan shedding all inhibitions as an actor. She will now be seen in the lavani item number Mala jau dya na ghari… in Vidhu Vinod Chopra Productions’ next, Ferrari Ki Sawari. And the actor insisted on being featured in a red sari instead of the traditional green attire usually worn.

Confirming the news, director Rajesh Mapuskar reveals, “The Dirty Picture was such a huge hit that she feels that red is her lucky colour. She insisted on doing the song in a red sari. The result is looking fantastic.”

Vidya, on the other hand, feels that people were unable to tap her sensual side, and so was never offered an item number before this. “I don’t think anyone could believe that I could be so sensual,” she says, adding, “I am still not a dancer. But I have begun to enjoy dancing more now.”

Prod her on whether she believes that this development is the result of her act in The Dirty Picture, and she says, “I guess everyone saw a different side of me in the film,” she laughs. Vidya has worked with Rajesh from the time when he was an associate director to Rajkumar Hirani in Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006). “So there is a special connection that I share with him.”

Vidya has finished shooting the song and is currently busy promoting her forthcoming film, Kahaani, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is set to hit theatres on March 9.

Preity Zinta: From Paris, with fever!

Mumbai, Feb. 24 -- Bechari Preity Zinta, whines my maid Munni. This woman, I tell you! After whining for a couple of minutes, she says that the actorturned-producer has fallen ill in Paris, where she's shooting her first film as a producer.

The mausam, it seems, was extremely suhavna till a few days ago and there were no expected showers. But one morning, around the time when the unit was filming some crucial scenes, it started pouring and PZ was drenched in no time. The weather became cold and the dimpled lady had taken to bed by then with high fever and weakness. Aww!

SRK: My kids, my co-stars!

Mumbai, Feb. 24 -- Shah Rukh Khan, according to Sandra from Bandra, has landed in London already. And expectedly, he's missing his bachchas, Aryan and Suhana, there. The actor is travelling on work, probably for the movie he's doing with Yash Chopra.

And everyday before he leaves for work, around breakfast time, he misses chatting with his kids. More so, he even wants to work with them. Of course, with a daughter who has the potential to become a superb scriptwriter, he can think of that. But Sandra also reports that he doesn't want to work with them so soon. He wants them to become adults and only then work with him in whatever capacity they want to. Baap ho to aisa!

It wasn’t a one-sided brawl: Malaika Arora

Malaika Arora Khan admits that she was distressed when a recent dinner with friends Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor ended in a brawl. “We were a lot of women there (sister Amrita Arora was also present), so we were very worried,” she mentions, adding, “I’m just glad that everyone finally reached home safely.”

On Tuesday night, Agent Vinod star Saif allegedly exchanged blows with South African businessman Iqbal Meer Sharma, who was also dining at Wasabi restaurant at the Taj Mahal Palace and Towers, Colaba.

Iqbal filed a complaint with the police, alleging that the actor attacked him after the A-list group was repeatedly told to pipe down as they were disturbing the other guests. Saif was arrested on Wednesday, along with Amrita’s husband Shakeel Ladakh who was also reportedly involved in the fistfight. They were both released after paying surety of Rs 15,000 each.

“The matter is in court, and it will take its due course,” Malaika says, adding, “Saif has given his statement, and I’m happy that he got a chance to give his side of the story. We want people to know that it wasn’t a one-sided brawl.”

Angry at whispers that the incident could be a publicity stunt for the actor’s upcoming action film, Malaika insists, “It’s sad and ridiculous for people to think this could be a publicity stunt. I don’t want to elaborate on such rumours.”

As for her professional life, Malaika’s plate is full, having just released a sneak peek of her latest item number, Anarkali Disco Chali… from Housefull 2, and supporting husband Arbaaz Khan’s directorial debut, Dabangg 2.

Would she be open to playing a larger role onscreen in the action sequel? “Every time I check fan sites, they keep saying I should,” she admits, adding, “The only director I would act for is Pedro Almodovar, since I love his films. And I would drop everything to be in a Woody Allen movie.”

‘Looking forward to CCTV footage’
At a press meet yesterday, actor Saif Ali Khan denied his recent brawl with businessman Iqbal Meer Sharma was a publicity stunt for his upcoming movie Agent Vinod. “We don’t need negative publicity. The incident could have been avoided," he said. The actor had previously mentioned that he acted in self-defence. “I was hit first. I am looking forward to CCTV footage (inside the restaurant)," he said, adding that the footage would prove that he was innocent.

It’s Saif to joke
Laugh out loud at the one-liners doing the rounds on Twitter:

So it’s true what they say - Wasabi really hits you in the nose.
Saif didn't punch anybody. He walked out of the place, and his nose clocked someone. That'll happen.
After the punching incident, Saif to be demoted from "Nawab of Pataudi" to "Sir-Punch of Pataudi."
What's common between Iqbal Sharma and Kareena? At some point, Saif has told them both to go to a library.
Saif Ali Khan punched a man on his nose, which swelled up on impact. The man is now called Soha Ali Khan.
Saif beats up a guy in Wasabi restaurant after he was told he was being loud. This is what happens when you make it large. Repeatedly.

Megan Fox Swears: I Wasn't Always Pretty!

Megan Fox is one of the most attractive human beings alive. (Case in pont: Hubba. Hubba.)

But she tells the latest issue of Miami magazine that this wasn't always the case.

"I was never the pretty girl," Fox says of her life as a teenager, adding that she was "abrasive" and "obnoxious" back then.

The actress says she was "ostracized" growing up, partly due to her unusual interests. Which she still possesses.

"I would love to go on a dig!" Fox says, detailing her fascination with ancient civilizations and also saying she's a conspiracy theorist: "Come on! You don't think everything that's learned is released to the public, do you?"

We really don't know, Megan. But maybe if you take your shirt off you can convince us.

Jon Gosselin on Being a Single Dad: Loving It

Jon Gosselin says he is loving life these days as a single dad. That's good, we suppose. Better than hating it, since it's the current state of affairs either way!

Jon recently split from girlfriend Ellen Ross, but unlike sad, lonely Kate Gosselin, he’s moving forward with his held head high, embracing his single status.

“I am doing great, moving on with my life, focusing on my kids and work,” he told Star.

“I’m in a much better place in my life ... right now, I’m just hanging out with friends, meeting new people, working and trying to focus on my kids."

“Being a single dad with no interruptions has really brought me closer to my children: Truthfully, I feel it has improved my self-awareness and well-being.”

Jon Gosselin said his eight children are flourishing, too.

“They know that I love them, and it’s important that they enjoy their childhood,” he said. “I always made sure that I am the constant in their life.”

Jon said despite being unlucky in love at times, he’s still got the idea of getting remarried in the back of his mind, but won’t rush down the altar.

“I still have a lot of work to do on myself, and I am an extremely busy person, between work and the children,” the Pennsylvania native told Star.

“My family is the most important thing in my life. I will strive to make it better for them, and to be a better person myself, each and every day.”

Kim Richards Loves Life, Wants to Remain on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Will she stay will she go? The whole world wants to know the status of Kim Richards on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Bravo is yet to make an announcement, but this reality star made it clear to Us Weekly last night: she wants to stick around.

"I love life. I've just been enjoying it so much," Kim told the magazine at a pre-Oscar party in Los Angeles, referring to her recent trip to rehab and adding:

"[My experience] doesn't make me want to walk away from anything,It makes me want to step out in front of everything and just say, 'You know what, anybody can do it.' I don't want to walk away from anything in my life. It's part of life: facing it!"

We're guessing the salary and exposure don't hurt, either.

Richards also made a point of thanking those around her for helping her overcome so many personal struggles.

"My family and friends - without them I just couldn't do it. My fans have been so supportive... People walk up to me and they just hug me and cry. That's so rewarding to me."

Boman Irani's son to make debut in KJo's Student of the Year

Bollywood actor Boman Irani's son Kayoze will be introduced in filmmaker Karan Johar's next offering, Student of the Year(SOTY). Kayoze started off as an assistant director for the recently released Kareena Kapoor-Imran Khan starrer Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.Now, the budding director has been
signed for Johar's film but his role has not been disclosed yet.

"Ok...thats Kayoze Irani!!! @kayoze..boman irani's super talented son who we are introducing in SOTY," filmmaker Karan Johar wrote on Twitter and posted a picture of the newbie on the micro blogging site.

The film also marks the debuts of Alia Bhatt, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, son of director David Dhawan and newcomer Siddharth Malhotra.

Both Siddharth and Varun had previously worked as assistant directors under Johar during the making of his 2010 film, My Name is Khan.As the shooting for the film is underway Johar is all looking forward to a song choreographed by Farah Khan.

"Am off for another outdoor of SOTY....am filming my favourite song in the album with Farah!!! On flight with the newbies..will connect soon!," he said.

There is a buzz that the song with the three debutants Varun, Alia and Siddharth would be a high school party gig, ala Shahrukh, Kajol and Rani's – Koi Mil Gaya Mera Dil Gaya from Johar's directorial debut movie, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

SOTY is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer and is being produced by Shahrukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Johar's Dharma Productions.

Deepika won't change skintone for Rajinikanth

Deepika Padukone won’t get tanned for Rajinikanth’s next Kochadaiyaan, the co-producer of the film has said. Rumours sparked recently that Padukone, who was ready to opt out of Race 2 for Rajinikanth’s film, is apparently going to be tanned to work with her dream superstar.

But Kochadaiyaan co-producer denied all such reports and said that there is no question of darkening the Om Shanti Om actress. According to the co-producer, people got the wrong idea when Padukone came down to Chennai for a look ad texture test.

Sooraj Barjatya's love affair with Bollywood!

He gave Salman Khan his career's first hit Maine Pyaar Kiya, established him as Prem before he became Dabangg with a string of action movies recently, gave Madhuri Dixit one of her biggest blockbusters, Hum Aapke Hain Koun! He's Sooraj Barjatya, the grandson of Tarachand Barjatya who excels in the art of churning out hard-core romantic films with aplomb. On his 47th birthday, we pay a tribute to the king of wedding flicks.

If romance was his genre, Prem had to be his protagonist. Salman Khan was his Prem in almost all his directorial ventures except Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon and Vivaah. Vivaah (wedding) nevertheless remained the central theme of nearly all his films.

Maine Pyar Kiya, starring newcomer Bhagyashree and Salman Khan, was one of the biggest hits of 1989 in India and Sooraj Barjatya didn't look back after its success.

Then came Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994). Critics at that time ripped the movie apart, saying it looks like a wedding video. The film went on to break many records, establishing Barjatya, as the king of wedding flicks. Madhuri Dixit's Deedi Tera Dewar Deewana, Waah Waah Raamji and many others songs composed by Raamlaxman ruled charts for a very long time.

In Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999), a multi-starrer movie, Barjatya had the scope to show more than one weddings - Mohnish-Tanu, Saif-Karisma and Salman-Sonali.

Trying to keep up with the changing times, Sooraj Barjatya treated Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon (2003) differently. He played out the Prem angle, rather triangle in a unique way. Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan both played Prem. And Kareena played Prem Ki Deewani. Despite all the correct ingredients, the recipe somehow failed to whet the viewers' appetite.

In 2006, he was back to doing what he's best at. Shahid-Amrita starrer Vivaah, though old-school, set the box office afire. Shahid, the new Prem and Amrita, his flame, were successful in wooing the audience.

He remade some of his grandfather's films, but in his own way. Hum Aapke Hain Koun was inspired from Nadiya Ke Paar and Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon was based on Chitchor.

Sooraj perhaps is the most peace loving directors of Bollywood, as his films starting from Maine Pyaar... to Vivaah hardly had any action. It was pure romance, and yes, it had great music.

Rumour has it that Sooraj Barjatya is planning his next directorial venture with Salman Khan, but it has not been confirmed. If it's true, his reunion with his original Prem is much awaited.

Zoya Akhtar's next, a tribute to Bollywood!

Zoya Akhtar has been discreetly working on two assignments. One is her next feature film as director after Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). The other is a 25-minute short film, which pays tribute to the Indian film industry that completes a century next year. For the latter, she’s not
working alone. There are as many as four other top directors who are preparing their films as homage. The list includes R Balki, who directed Amitabh Bachchan in Paa (2009) and Cheeni Kum (2007), and Dibakar Bannerjee, who is currently working on Shanghai.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, the company helming Zoya’s movie, says, “We’re really proud of her. She’s been burning the midnight oil to give the short film its desired shape and colour. It would be unfair if my partner Farhan (producer-director-actor-singer-writer Farhan Akhtar) or I gave away the actual content of her movie. But we can promise that it’s a beautiful film that pays tribute to one of the biggest and oldest film industries in the world. It’s a beautiful story woven around filmmaking.”

As for her next after ZNMD, Farhan says, “Zoya’s working on a couple of subjects right now. She doesn’t want to make any announcements till she’s ready. But we plan to make a formal announcement about her film and a host of others, including one each by Abhishek Kapoor and Abhinay Deo, in a few months, maybe in June.”

And would one be the sequel of Zindagi…? “It is on Zoya’s mind, but I don’t think she plans to do it immediately,” says Ritesh. “She’s fully aware that people are expecting to know what happened to the boys in the movie. So the sequel will happen at some point when Zoya and Reema (director-writer Reema Kagti) find a story to narrate. Till then, they both want to do something different as writers and directors because that will keep their creative energy going.”

Farhan seconds Ritesh. He says, “Last year, we had three-four films in different stages of production. So we didn’t have the time to figure life. And our silence was taken for granted. People thought we had split because I took up Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. That’s not true and people will believe us when we bring our projects to the table in a few months.”

Jodi Breakers cleared of plagiarism charge!

Jodi Breakers has been exonerated from charges of plagiarism levelled by the producers of the French film Heartbreakers, which was said to have inspired the Hindi movie releasing Friday.

Apparently the lawyers appointed by the producers of Heartbreakers saw Jodi Breakers, which has Bipasha Basu and R Madhavan in the lead roles, and came to the conclusion that there were no overt similarities between the two films.

Sounding relieved, the film's director Ashwini Chaudhary said: "Their lawyers have concluded that there are no similarities between their film, and ours. The fact that they came to this conclusion comes as no surprise to me.

"I was aware that there were no similarities between the two films, other than maybe the similar-sounding titles. I don't know who started this whole allegation against our film. This is not the kind of publicity we were looking for."

Chaudhary feels there must have been provocation to press for the plagiarism charges.

"Why else would they have suddenly chosen to accuse us of plagiarism without seeing a single frame of our film? After the charges, I had given them a synopsis of my script. Then I had offered to let them read my script in my office provided they first signed a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). But they refused. It was almost as if they were determined to prove we had copied their film, no matter what the truth."

Relieved by the developments, Chaudhary said: "It is very fashionable and lucrative for people to jump in during the time of a film's release. It creates so much unnecessary tension for any project. There has to be a way to put an end to this troublesome practice."

Leah Messer: Jumped By Roving Gang of She-Thugs Outside Movie Theater!

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer was brutally attacked by a group of three women outside a West Virginia movie theater this weekend, according to reports.

The 19-year-old mother of twins, who just miscarried in her second pregnancy, is telling friends and family that the incident went down Sunday night.

Leah Messer says she had just left the theater with her new fiance, Jeremy Calvert, when an older woman began following her and calling her names.

Leah insists she tried to tell the woman to leave her alone when two other girls came out of nowhere and all three began wailing on her hardcore.

Sources say Leah's fiance and a security guard managed to pull the three assailants off the MTV star and got Messer the hell out of the area.

A photo of her face following the brawl shows the poor blonde with a swollen cheek and redness on her neck and chest ... this was a serious melee.

Messer apparently did not recognize any of her attackers, but Leah's mother has since gone to Twitter in an effort to try and identify the women.

It's equally unclear why the goons decided to go after her in the first place. Sources say Leah plans to follow up with police later today to file a report.

Lindsay Lohan Scores Elizabeth Taylor Biopic Role

The skeptics who say Lindsay Lohan shouldn't host SNL because she does nothing other than get into legal trouble have a little less ammunition today.

The actress is studying hard for the movie role she so coveted - and just got - doing all that she can to accurately portray a young Elizabeth Taylor.

Lindsay just inked a deal with Lifetime to play Liz in the network's biopic called Liz and Dick. Production on L & D is scheduled to kick off late March.

Conveniently, right after Lindsay's probation is over and done with.

Lindsay is telling friends she's taking her gig, which she lobbied hard for, very seriously and is "obsessing over getting the part right" for the film.

The 25-year-old has been doing nothing but watching old Taylor movies to help her recreate the Hollywood icon's posture, speech, and every detail.

Lohan has also been reading old Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011) interviews online and reading a bunch of biographies ... dedication to the craft, people!

She even posed with a Taylor t-shirt in those LOVE magazine pics.

Lifetime is taking a hard stance with Lindsay too, demanding she complete ALL probation requirements before filming. She's on track to ... for now.

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran Enjoying "Open Relationship," Source Claims

"Girl I wanna f*** you right now. Been a long time, I've been missing your body." - the first line of Chris Brown and Rihanna's remix of "Birthday Cake"

Despite suggestive lyrics like that, and plenty of other rumors surrounding Chris Brown and Rihanna, Karrueche Tran isn't bothered by all the noise.

That's because the two have an open relationship, according to reports.

"Karrueche isn't stupid, and she has told friends that they have an open relationship. She never asks about Rihanna, ever," says a source of Brown's girlfriend.

"Chris will take several days to call her back at times, and that is OK with Karreuche. She doesn't pressure or hound Chris, it's just not what she is about."

"She recognizes that they are both young, and she isn't going to let the fact Chris is spending time with his ex-girlfriend come between what they have."

What they have? It doesn't sound like much ... but good for them!

Karreuche and Brown were recently seen in Miami, and she "is clearly enjoying the attention and notoriety she is getting being his girlfriend," a source says.

As for rumors that Rihanna may become his girlfriend instead?

In 2009, Chris Brown was arrested for felony battery on Rihanna, the night before the Grammy Awards. Now they're making beautiful music together again.

Only in the literal sense ... or maybe not. While sources say they are not planning a reconciliation, Rihanna would not fear the public backlash if they did.

"They have probably hooked up half a dozen times in the past year, but it's unlikely that Rihanna and Chris would ever get back together though,” an insider said.

The reason being?

“Rihanna doesn't give a s--t if she were to get public backlash if they were to reconcile, but she is the one calling the shots now, which she likes."

"She knows that if they were to get back together, she wouldn't be able to maintain that strong role, and Chris would likely lose interest."

"They are both very young still, and Rihanna knows she would never be able to trust Chris because he has problems staying faithful."

Given that he's supposedly hooking up with her while dating Karreuche Tran right now, she would have a decent argument to make there.

Bobby Brown Wants Daughter to Enter Rehab

Bobby Brown and his former in-laws are at such odds that the singer was nearly uninvited to Whitney Houston's funeral (and then proceeded to exit after just a few minutes in attendance).

But the opposing parties apparently have one thing in common: both are VERY concerned over the state of Bobbi Kristina, Brown and Houston's 18-year old daughter.

With reports circulating that claim Bobbi vanished for hours after her mother was laid to rest, and was eventually discovered with drugs in her system, the New Edition singer is reportedly is urging his child to enter a rehab program.

“Krissy has taken her mother’s death really hard, not surprisingly, and Bobby is terrified she’s going to do something stupid," an insider tells Radar Online. "He wants her in a treatment center, getting professional help to get her through the grieving process without falling back on alcohol or drugs to mask her pain.”

Ironically and tragically, of course, the basis of Brown's beef with Whitney's family is his history of substance abuse and their belief that he played a significant role in setting both Whitney and Bobbi down this dangerous path.

Cheryl Tiegs Fired on Celebrity Apprentice Premiere

The Celebrity Apprentice's fifth-season premiere began with real estate mogul / blowhard / occasional political figure Donald Trump meeting with the season's celebrity cast and revealing he would be breaking them up into teams based on gender.

After the women lost, Patricia Velasquez then opted to take Cheryl Tiegs and Victoria Gotti back into the boardroom with her after Trump and his children (Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr.) debated the women's failure and pinned it on both women.

Ultimately, Cheryl Tiegs became the first candidate fired this season.

Trump fired the supermodel and former True Beauty judge for her role in the first task, in which sandwiches were sold to charitable donors and customers for NYC delis.

Patricia was clearly off the hook because her entire team agreed she did an excellent job despite the team losing the task, and the team was still successful overall.

She went on to tell Trump she would ultimately fire Cheryl over Victoria because Victoria brought positive energy and passion that would help her team. Trump agreed.

"I don't think you feel comfortable in this environment ... do you?" Trump asked Cheryl. "I don't know if I fit into this group," Cheryl replied.

"I respect you for saying that and you're dealing with some very strong personalities, and you're just as strong as they are Cheryl - maybe stronger in your own way - but still, everyone on your team felt that you didn't step up."

"You, yourself, admitted that you held back money. The fact is Cheryl, you're an amazing success story. You're an amazing woman, but for purposes of what we have to do here, Cheryl, you're fired," Trump explained.

"To be honest with you, I think I did as good a job as I could. I'm telling you, I did a lot of things behind the scenes that nobody recognized or acknowledged ... even though I'm a little teary-eyed, I'm happy. I don't think this environment was right for me."

"I'm certainly as intelligent as any of the women, but there's a toughness there that I don't have and don't ever want to have," she said following her ouster.

The Bachelor Hometown Dates Recap: Who Got the (Surprising) Chop?!

There are few guarantees in life, but on The Bachelor, there are several:

The word "hometown" will be dropped around 173 times per season.
People will somehow say "Ben and I's relationship" almost as often.
There will be increasing drama with each passing week, and Courtney Robertson and/or the people writing for Courtney Robertson will stir that ish up.
Monday was no exception as Courtney, Nicky Sterling, Kacie Boguskie and Lindzi Cox took Ben Flajnik to meet their parents in four awkward, contrived dates.

Court brought her aggressive game this week, just when we thought she couldn't make us any more uncomfortable. Could the other girls hold a candle to her?

Who made the final three? Were The Bachelor spoilers right, or did Ben pull a surprise? Hint: Someone's dad prompted a breakup many did not see coming.

Here's THG's official +/- Bachelor recap:

Lindzi Cox kicked things off at home in Ocala, Fla., where Ben became only the second guy she's ever brought home. This girl has been seriously lacking for screen time since the premiere considering how clearly cool she is. Plus 23.

They chatted about the first man she brought home who she said later broke her heart. Plus 5, not for breaking Lindz's heart, but because it's the right time in one's courtship to start bringing things up ... not on the first or second date.

Her dad seems to delight in dropping Ben factoids. Plus 4.

"I've had a good feeling about Lindzi since the first night. She makes me feel good," Ben said in his confessional. Just not in the way Courtney does. Minus 20.

Her parents married in San Francisco's City Hall - the same place Ben and Lindzi had their first date! What are the odds?! (On this show, rather high!) Plus 3.

"I could see a forever future with Ben; I've never said that before," Lindzi told her mom after she met Ben. Aww. We're increasingly hoping she gets it. Plus 4.

Horeseback riding time! You knew it was coming. Plus 6.

Lindzi's dad: "We'd be honored to have you as our son-in-law!" Safe to say that went about as well as a contrived, reality TV meet-the-parents date could! Plus 9.

Courtney Robertson was up next, telling her folks, "[Ben] is smart and funny and I really feel like I'm falling for him. I, like, love him." Like, like, like, Minus 20.

At least she's candid with everyone and not putting on an act: "He makes me feel so special; If he keeps it up, I'll be ready to say yes if he proposes." Plus 8.

Of course, then she and the producers had to go totally over the top. Let's go have a picnic at the place Court ALWAYS WANTED to get married. Minus 13.

She then surprised Ben with a faux wedding ... complete with officiant. She handed Ben a notebook to write his down his vows, too. Incredible. Minus 17.

"We are not Mr. and Mrs. Flajnik yet, but it feels pretty good to try it on for size," Courtney Robertson says. Girl definitely knows how to make a point. Plus 9.

Minus 6, though, because that point is often unpleasant. As is her delivery. You can't fake all of this for entertainment's sake, can you? Who the heck knows.

Nicki Sterling the dental hygienist started her date off in a boot shop, where they snap up cowboy boots and hats. Always a nice touch for a Texas girl. Plus 10.

She then reveals she married the last man she brought home. Crickets. Minus 11.

Dad has some reservations: "I don't want you to get hurt. I may have too readily given your hand in marriage the first time." Honest and heartfelt. Plus 8.

Nicki's mom is more sold: "I see with Ben some kind of connection I've not seen ... even with her first husband." Really? Ben and Nicki? If you say so! Plus 5.

"[Ben] makes me feel cherished and special." - Nicki. Cherished? Minus 3.

Kacie Boguskie finally welcomed Ben to visit her family, with a salute from a marching band at her high school and baton twirling by herself, obvi. Plus 16.

"When I'm around Kacie I feel like I'm at ease. She has this endearing quality that brings out the best in me," Ben said. Plus 7. Two hours later, though?

Kacie's dad is a federal probation officer who doesn't drink. Ben notes that this is "Strike one" given his profession. If only it didn't get worse ... Minus 5.

"I would be very frustrated if something my dad says causes Ben to question our relationship," Kacie said. Yup, that pretty much happened! Minus 5.

Ben asks if Kacie's dad is "comfortable" with their situation, and he tells him no. He clearly isn't thrilled with The Bachelor concept. Good guy. Plus 11.

"If Kacie is not the one for you, I would hope that would be communicated to her very soon to keep her from getting hurt more," says her dad. Plus 9.

Then he really piled it on: "If he was to ask me if he could marry you, I would say no," he said, adding to "get to know each other better." Plus 10.

"All of a sudden, everything is going wrong, I don't know if I can fix it," Kacie laments. Minus 7, because we are sad for her, but it may be for the best.

Ben eliminates Kacie B., which became plainly obvious. Minus 23.

"I had no clue this was coming. Am I not good enough? I don't get it! How did this happen? What the (bleep) happened?!" Kacie B. said, dejected.

Vidya's next a comedy with Emraan

After bold roles in films like Ishqiya (2010) and her recent hit, The Dirty Picture (2011), you can’t accuse Vidya Balan of staying within her comfort zone. Now, the actor will show off her quirky side opposite Emraan Hashmi in the upcoming comedy, Ghanchakkar.

Confirming the news, Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO, UTV Motion Pictures, says, “Ghanchakkar is our third film in a row with writer-director Raj Kumar Gupta. The lead roles were virtually written for Emraan and Vidya, so we have managed to get our dream cast."

Vidya has already worked with Raj Kumar in No One Killed Jessica (2011), where she played slain model Jessica Lall’s sister Sabrina, a role that fetched her critical acclaim and several awards.

Ask what drove her to take up a comedy film after a string of brave performances, and she says, “Comedy is one thing that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. As an actor, all you want to do is reach out to the audience with diverse, yet entertaining, roles. Also, the story, director and co-actors play a critical role ifor me while selecting a film,” says Vidya.

Ghanchakkar is the story of an ex-conman Sanju (Emraan), who has a taste for the finer things in life, and his ambitious wife (Vidya). Problems arise when they are trapped by two thugs, and their silliness leads to complete chaos.

Vidya, who is presently busy promoting her forthcoming film Kahaani, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, will start shooting for Ghanchakkar in August this year. The film is expected to release by mid-2013.

‘Shootout At Wadala was not something I wanted to do’
Vidya Balan admits she refused to be a part of director Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala because there was little scope for her to show off her acting skills. “In Shootout At Wadala, there was nothing much for me to do. They wanted to start it in November. I couldn’t do it at that time, as I had just finished The Dirty Picture and was busy promoting it,” says Vidya.

Though Sanjay wrote the character keeping Vidya in mind, he has now roped in actor Kangana Ranaut to play the female lead opposite John Abraham. “I am sure it will be a good film, and whoever does it will do justice to the role. With no disrespect to anyone, this was not something I wanted to do,” says Vidya.

Sonakshi becomes the first B-Town star to join WhoSay

Sonakshi Sinha has joined the likes of Eva Longoria, Rihanna and Charlie Sheen. The actor has become the first Bollywood star on Hollywood’s newest social media website, WhoSay.

The site allows users to access and update Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Tumblr accounts all at once.

Interestingly, Sonakshi joined the group on Republic Day. “For me, it was a very pleasant surprise receiving the invite. I felt honoured since they are targeting influencers and well-established celebrities. I feel lucky that I’m amongst the few young actors who they saw potential in,” says Sonakshi.

Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter is known to be Internet savvy and is quite active on Twitter. “I love that there is one platform to interact with my fans and my social media accounts are integrated into one,” says the actor, who is currently shooting for Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera.

WhoSay currently has nearly 1,000 members on its list, including personalities such as Kristin Cavallari, Jordin Sparks, Lindsay Lohan, Sofia Vergara, Nikki Reed, Paris Hilton, Bravo’s Andy Cohen and Snoop Dogg. Celebrities can join by invitation only or request to become a member.

Sonakshi is also excited because it is an ‘invite-only’ website, and all the posts will be verified. So unlike other social networking sites, her pictures, videos and messages will be authentic.
