So what if Mallika Sherawat's cinematic career has been sinking to new depths every time she does a film, that doesn't mean the actress can't give tips to her junior Kangna Ranaut. Of course, the advice is about how to manage a Hollywood 'career'.
Kangna Ranaut has certainly been going great guns with her roles in films like Tanu Weds Manu and bagging many more like Rascals, Double Dhamaal and Happy New Year. But now, it seems like the actress is looking westwards.
"Kangna is curious about Hollywood and keeps asking Mallika about her experience," a source told Mid Day.
KangnaWhile it has been established how Mallika Sherawat manages to stay in Hollywood news, Kangna too is not that far behind either. We all heard the news of how Gerard Butler took Kangna for a vacation. But everyone can do with a bit of help and guidance from the seniors, after all.
The actresses are working together in the film Double Dhamaal and while Mallika may have given Kangna the cold shoulder earlier, it seems she's taken the junior actress under her wing!
"It was during the second schedule that the two became good friends with Mallika even posting pictures of Kangna and her to disprove the theory that she and Kangs didn't get along." In fact, it seems one of Kangna's first invites (second possibly only to Salman Khan) for her birthday party went to Mallika.
And now it seems the overwhelmed Mallika thinks that Kangna should try her luck in Hollywood too and in fact, "has even promised to help Kangs with her Hollywood contacts."
However, sources close to Kangna seem to have a different story.
"Though Kangna is fond of Mallika, she has never spoken to her about Hollywood or asked her for help on anything. Kangna is an independent person who has achieved success on her own terms and she would like to keep it like that."
Well, all we know is that both the actresses have in common their controversies and of course the Hollywood connection!
